It was wonderful to meet such a warm and genuine family! I'm glad that we had a chance to photograph their adorable children! It was a very warm and humid evening but they all seemed to enjoy exploring their new surroundings. I also definitely have to thank the 'W' family for being patient with me as I caught up with all of my sessions! There were so many good ones that it was really hard to choose what to put on the blog...enjoy your preview!

Niece 'K's Engagement
Once again I'm playing catch up with the blog. It seems that I go in phases when we are in between seasons. We did this engagement session with my niece earlier this spring and I just didn't have a chance to get it posted until now... might have had something to do with all of the preparations for photographing the wedding!
If you read far enough back on our blog you'll see that I say that I don't do weddings. This was the time that we did an outdoor wedding for a super convincing couple! The photos turned out wonderful but a large church wedding was a completely different story...let alone both my kids being in the wedding! Stay tuned for the wedding photos but enjoy this for now...we had a lot of fun visiting new locations and watching the interaction between the two!

Sweet Baby 'T'
Remember the couple expecting their first baby...well here he is at 3 months! I'm so glad that they decided to bring him to the studio. After doing the maternity session I just kept thinking about them and we finally got together. He's such a sweet baby and we had fun doing a family session for them. Isn't he cute?

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!
A 50th wedding anniversary is such a special event! Senior 'M's family celebrated by coming together from all over and took the opportunity to get updated family pics. I hope that you enjoyed the time that you got to spend with each other on that wonderful river excursion. Glad to see that the weather cooperated for you!

Senior 'J's Family at the Lake
We met Senior 'J's family at their house and after a little adventure finally got started with the pics. We took a few by the house and then walked over to their dock at the lake. The session wouldn't have been complete without a rather large snake in our path and a final jump in the lake pic...that water was absolutely freezing!
I'm glad that we were able to get these last few pics of Senior 'J'. We tried to do these in the fall but work on the lake and dam prevented us from getting out there.
This is a page in Senior 'J's album and an awesome filmstrip of that jump in the lake. I still can't believe he jumped in that freezing water!

Expecting Our Sweet Baby Boy...
This couple was expecting their first baby and he was scheduled to arrive a few weeks after the session. I was excited that 'A' asked me to do a maternity session for them and I absolutely love how the photos turned out!
