Senior 'M' Starts the Season

I had a great time this evening with a fun senior and her mom! It was awesome to start out the senior season with such an easy going and patient senior. I've picked just a few favorites for tonight and will add more tomorrow as I get through the rest of the shoot. I hope you enjoy your preview!

Welcoming Baby Noah

Here are just a few images from our first session with Jay's new grandson! This little guy came into the world a little earlier than expected so while these look like newborn images, he's really three months old already. It was our first visit in our house with him and we were super excited to see how big he had grown. I'll post more images as soon as I get through the rest of them but couldn't wait to get him up on the blog!

2009 Seniors

Wow, the 2009 - 2010 senior season is quickly approaching! I wanted to post some of the Open House cards that we offered this year as well as a reminder of the sessions that we had so that you don't have to search through all of the posts.

As you can tell, I'm very excited about the upcoming season and I can't wait to have more seniors in the studio. We really enjoy these sessions and welcome the fun and creativity that goes along with them! Hope to see you in the studio!

My 2009 - 2010 pricing!

Now that I'm getting back into my photography again, I've decided to go ahead and post my pricing on my blog so that you can not only see what I do but how much it costs. I'm trying to stay away from offering set packages where you have a specific number of prints that you get for the package price. I really believe that this limits your options when selecting photos for yourself and your relatives.

So, I'm offering my prints at very reasonable prices where you select any sizes you want and can choose up to 5 different poses. Here's what I have set up for this year.

The session fee is $50 and includes unlimited changes of clothes and both location and studio work. The session typically lasts 3 hours. Additional poses are $20 each and then you use the a la carte prices above. 

Another thing we are offering this year is a 10% discount* if you place your order 30 days from either the online viewing or picking up your proofbook.

Fine Print

* The 10% discount does not apply to the price of the proofbook.

~ A $75 deposit is required to check out your proofbook. Your proofbook must be returned within 30 days.

~ The session fee will be refunded if no prints are ordered and the proofbook is returned. We are offering this because I really want you to be happy with your images or I'll guarantee your money back.

I also offer graduation/open house cards or a copyright release for that purpose for $20/image. I'll post some of my card samples so you can check those out!

Well, that's the low down on the pricing and I hope that you'll book your session with us. While some of this is geared toward the upcoming senior season, the same pricing applies to children and families!

Grandma & Grandpa 'M'

Here is the wonderful session with my grandparents that I did last fall. I'm amazed that they even let me take their picture but everyone wanted updated photos so we finally talked them into it on their last visit. Most of the photos look pretty serious but 'J' was full of giggles when she got to sit on Grandpa's lap and coaxed a few laughs out of him!

Wow! It feels like it's been forever since I posted to my blog! I've kind of been on a couple month hiatus. My graphic design and coding work took over all my time this winter. I do have a wonderful session of my grandparents to post and some shots of my own kids to share. I'll do that very shortly just to get things updated.

I'm posting now to let everyone know that I'm starting back into the swing of things. I'm getting some senior rep cards out to start spreading the word that we're here and ready to start booking sessions. If you know of any seniors go ahead and send them my way!

I will also be announcing my 2009-2010 senior pricing and packages very soon! Once I get our new studio look and logo ready to go I'll finish up the complete picture and get it posted. I am very excited so stay tuned!

Fun With the 'P' Family!

We met this family after our daughters became fast friends at preschool. The kids are awesome and have great personalities and equally great parents! This shoot was really fun and the kids had some unique posing ideas... check out the collage!

'M' was also due for her 5 year photos so we got some sweet smiles from her too. She loves the camera and made my job easy. They had such a good time that we still had the three youngest kids here the next morning... not a standard option on the price sheet, but fun was had by all!

Halloween Cat and Mouse

Here's how Halloween looked at my house on my husband's birthday... a couple of cats and a mouse. I promised my kids that I would put their halloween photos up on the blog... and I couldn't resist adding my niece's baby 'J'.

My kids are really into the arts and love anything Broadway. 'J' is Victoria from Cats and 'R' is Rum Tum Tugger. 'R' has been dancing for eight years and is absolutely amazing! 'J' is on her second year and they both continually dance around the house. It's crazy how even emptying the dishwasher can become a dance move!

My Niece 'K's Family

This session took place the same day as the 'M' family... you can tell how much I have fallen behind in my blogging. My day job (the one that pays the bills) has been pretty intense lately!

My niece's family also enjoyed the beautiful fall colors. I can't believe that we got 'J' to play by herself by the creek without jumping in... it was grandma with all those rocks that kept her entertained. Enjoy the preview!
